We had an excursion to an old coal powerplant with bunch of urban explorers back in December. The plant is scheduled for demolition somewhere in near future and this was the last chance to visit the place 'legally' since they don't want any more 'extra' visitors there before the demolition. The plant has been used in numerous Finnish films, music videos and tv shows, infact there was some music video shooting at the same time we visited the plant.
There was so many interesting places to explore and luckily we had a chance explore the plant unsupervised for about four hours. While wondering around I found this shopping cart just hanging around which i thought was pretty funny, so i just had to take a picture of it.
the grid of the floor compliment the shopping cart, nicely arranged. your composition is great, as usual. The Sepia tone adds alot to the photo and gives it a nice industrial feel and look to the photo. This is definitely a favourite
I really like this.
The place reminds me of the lower levels of the steelworks I used to work at. I like how the trolley seems to be an extension of the floor, almost as if it's growing out of it.
Kind of represents the difference between the industrial and commercial sectors in a way; the former is dark, corroded and dirty, but sturdy. The latter is shiney and clean but flimsy looking in comparison. But that might be a load of nonsence.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
